Who is Elena Risteska?

Now every week, I’ve noticed that a disproportionate number of people are finding my blog by searching for Elena Risteska. Who is this woman? To my knowledge I haven’t posted anything about her in my blog. Considering so many people are seeking information about one Elena Risteska, I figured I should do a little investigation into this sought after woman. With a little research, the mystery is solved, Elena is this years Macedonian entrant in the Eurovision song contest, which explains the link to my blog and how silly of me to forget, her hit was that strange ditty, Ninanajna. She’s got an official website for all avid fans, unfortunately it’s in I presume Macedonian so yeah, um, the pictures are nice.
There are some other English websites, one of the better ones being ElenaRisteska.com. So why the fuss over Elena? Isn’t she just another pop princess - a genre hardly void of sexy little minx’s with questionable vocal skills. To be honest, I can’t find anything particularly amazing about Elena. She became popular within Macedonia and the Bulkan area after the release of some pop hit songs. And in a rare talent for pop musicians, she writes her own lyrics. She got became Macedonia’s Eurovision entrant by winning a reality based popstar game show “Play –Search For A Star.”
Anyway, if anyone can help to shed some light on the brilliance that makes Elena Risteska a hot item for world news searchs, feel free to enlighten.
